KINGS POINT, N.Y., May 2, 2017 - Members of the public are invited to the third annual auto show to be held on the grounds of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, on Sunday, May 7, 2017.

The event to be hosted by the Regimental Auto Club will include many classic, historic and modified vehicles. Most notable, a 1948 Tucker, considered to be the most collectible post war American Car, will make its debut outside Wiley Hall, the former home of Walter Chrysler.

KINGS POINT, N.Y., April 24, 2017 – On Friday, the United States Merchant Marine Academy’s (USMMA) Office of Admissions hosted its Admissions Open House for High School candidates who have applied to the Class of 2021.

KINGS POINT, N.Y., February 15, 2017 – The United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) today announced that Sea Year training for USMMA Midshipmen will resume on three commercial carriers beginning in March 2017.

SOUTH HUNTINGTON, N.Y. (Feb. 4, 2017) – For the second straight week, the same exact USMMA relay squad that set an Academy record last week set a new one in a different event this week at the St. Joseph's Winter Invitational.

Today, Midshipmen from the United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) attended New York City's Chinese New Year Parade. The parade in which is held in Chinatown each year, is one of the largest Chinese New Year celebrations in the world. 

KINGS POINT, N.Y., February 2, 2017 –Last Friday the United States Merchant Marine Academy’s (USMMA) Department of Admissions welcomed Admissions Field Representatives for a day of training and interactive discussions regarding the USMMA admissions process. Field representatives, known as “field reps,” are alumni or parent volunteers who represent the Academy at various events in their local areas.
