Coach Henry is a professional sailing coach from Mamaroneck, NY that has coached various scholastic and club teams in the greater region and beyond for the past 16 years. Prior to joining the KP family, Coach Henry was the Assistant Coach at SUNY Maritime College where he helped lead the team to several podium finishes along the way to appearances in both the 2023 Kennedy Cup and the 2024 Open Dinghy National Championship. Originally from Larchmont, NY Coach Henry grew up sailing on the Long Island Sound and went on to become a career sailing coach after a short stint as a teacher that immediately followed his college graduation. In the years since then, Coach Henry has led sailors and teams to notable finishes and titles that include the 2021 Connecticut State Girls Fleet Racing Championship, Top Public School team at the 2019 New England Team Race Championship, and many more.
Coach Henry earned his Bachelors of Science in Environmental Geoscience, with minors in History and General Education from Boston College in 2015 and now resides in Mamaroneck, NY with his wife Georgia and son Lachlan.

Coach Dominique joined Kings Point in 1999, as the Director of Offshore Sailing. Since then, he has been at the forefront of all Waterfront Athletics here at the Academy. During Rick's tenure, Kings Point has secured multiple National Championship Titles, and numerous Conference Championship Titles, while fostering numerous ICSA All-America Team Selections.
Appointed as the Director of Varsity Programs in 2008, Rick has dedicated himself to the improvement of all three Varsity Waterfront Programs and the retention of our athletes. Since 2008, Coach Dominique has complemented the recruitment of sailors and rowers as well as the recruiting and hiring of waterfront coaches. He usually sacrifices his summers to spearhead the waterfront training of the plebe class during indoctrination and has developed and led learn-to-sail programs and classes for midshipmen to become more involved with the Waterfront.
Dominique had a standout college sailing career at SUNY Maritime College, specializing in Lasers which led to the 1996 and 2008 Olympic Sailing Campaigns. Dominique has represented the United States at 5 World Championships in the J80 and Sonar Classes. Dominique's offshore resume is held second to none, with 14 Around Block Island Races, 12 Vineyard Races, and 17 Around Long Island Races. This is paired with Transatlantic crossings and numerous Newport-Bermuda Races.
Along with his passion for Waterfront Athletics, Rick Dominique is the Head Coach for the USMMA Ice Hockey Team.
Coach Dominique earned his Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation from SUNY Maritime College in 1993, and now resides in Westbury, NY with his wife Tracey, and two children Jamie and Marissa.
