Biography
Jeffrey Taffet is a scholar of United States international history. He is the author of Against Aid: A History of Opposition to Foreign Aid Spending (Routledge 2022), The United States and Latin America: A History with Documents (Routledge 2017) with Dustin Walcher, and Foreign Aid as Foreign Policy: The Alliance for Progress in Latin America (Routledge 2007). His current work explores US foreign aid spending for reproductive health programs from the mid-1960s to the late 1980s. In his spare time, Dr. Taffet enjoys running, biking, and grading papers.
