Fatima Defilippi is a New York State licensed Mental Health Provider with over five years of experience. She began her professional career as a crisis counselor during the COVID -19 Pandemic, providing emotional support to survivors and their families. 

She continued her work as a Mental Health Provider in a nonprofit community-based organization and in a private practice setting. Fatima has supported survivors of trauma, including survivors of intimate partner violence, as well as adults experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety and adjustment-related challenges. 

In addition to individual therapy, Fatima has facilitated psychoeducational groups focused on mental health, empowerment, and overall wellness. Her approach emphasizes evidence-based treatments, grounding techniques, and wellness practices to help individuals develop healthier coping skills and lead more balanced lives.

Fatima received her Bachelor’s Degree from York College CUNY and her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling and Wellness from New York University.
