Stephanik won the election in 2014 defeating Matt Doheny.
Personal Profile
Stephanik’s parents own a plywood business in the Albany area. She worked in the Bush Administration on the Domestic Policy Council and in the office of the White House Chief.
She also worked for the Foreign Policy Initiative and as the policy director for former Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty during his 2012 campaign.
