In accordance with 46 CFR Part 386, Academy property is closed to the public during regimental leave periods — December 20 through January 4 — reopening January 5. “The closing of property shall not apply where the Superintendent has approved the after-normal-working-hours use of buildings or athletic facilities for authorized activities (i.e., scheduled intercollegiate sporting events).”
