KINGS POINT, N.Y., November 19, 2025 - The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) announces a meeting of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) Board of Visitors (Board). During the meeting, USMMA leadership will provide an update on the State of the Regiment of Midshipmen, Educational Programs, Middle States Accreditation, Sea Year, Facilities and Infrastructure Projects, Athletics, Admissions, Midshipmen Well-Being including Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Prevention and Response.

The USMMA BOV meeting will take place on November 24, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST.
