Veterans Day holds profound significance at USMMA, as the Regiment of Midshipmen honors the service and sacrifice of all military veterans. The Academy takes special pride in remembering its own, including the 142 Cadet-Midshipmen who gave their lives during World War II. Ceremonies and formations on this day reinforce the institution's core value of Acta Non Verba, reminding current midshipmen of the solemn duty they are preparing to undertake as future officers in the armed forces and the maritime industry.
