The United States Merchant Marine Academy welcomes its newest educators with the annual New Faculty Orientation. This essential onboarding event introduces incoming faculty members to the unique maritime mission, rigorous academic standards, and distinctive regimental life at Kings Point. Throughout the orientation, professors and instructors are familiarized with the Academy's academic policies, campus facilities, and the specialized requirements of educating and training Midshipmen. By equipping our newest faculty with the necessary tools and institutional knowledge, this orientation ensures they are fully prepared to support the academic success of the Regiment as classes begin for the First Term.
