Overview

Federal Direct Loans and PELL Grants are available to cover some of these educational costs.  In addition to applying for aid at the Academy, you may also want to consider applying for scholarships.  This page is dedicated to give you information about some of the many “outside” scholarship opportunities that are available for you.

The National Scholars Honor Society Scholarships

This is an academic honor organization dedicated to actively encouraging, recognizing, and rewarding high academic achievement in all areas of study.  They society strives to reward and encourage personal growth and development as well as engender a sense of civic responsibility and dedication to our great nation.

USA FundsProgram offers $1,500 scholarships to full-time undergraduate, graduate and professionals students.
Women Economic Developers for Long IslandAnnual Madelyn Orsini Scholarship of up to $1,000 to students in their freshman, sophomore or junior year at a College located in Long Island.

American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers Scholarships

Scholarships are available to undergraduate students enrolled full-time in an ABET-accredited program leading to a Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree.  Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0. 

Merchants Exchange Scholarship FundThese Scholarships are awarded to students from the Pacific Northwest.  The scholarship are awarded to those who have demonstrated academic ability and personal qualities which will permit them to benefit from higher education.
