Biography
Jeff Taffet is a scholar of United States international history. He is the author of The United States and Latin America: A History with Documents Routledge 2017) with Dustin Walcher, Foreign Aid as Foreign Policy: The Alliance for Progress in Latin America (Routledge 2007), and a series of essays about US-Latin American relations and related issues. Building on his earlier work, he is currently doing research for a comprehensive study of the history of U.S. foreign aid programs. Along with his wife and two sons, Dr. Taffet lives in southern Westchester county. In his spare time, he enjoys running and grading papers.
