The following are ship's documents to aide Midshipmen in ship
familiarization and in research for the Sea Project. We will
continue to add more literature over time.
Some material in these pages have copyright protection. We have
obtained permission from manufactures to display their information and manuals
on this website. Do not copy books and manuals from these pages.
PLEASE NOTE: While systems and manuals are subdivided to decrease the size,
some files may be large.
- Ship's Publications

Ship's Publications are the manuals and programs produced by the
ship's officers that are tailored for the new mission and design of
the ship. These include the Operations Manual, Damage Control
Book, and the Stability Program.
- General Documents

General Documents are most of the ships certificates, booklets
and documentation.
- Engineering

Engineering items are descriptions of the vessel's systems
taken from the Engineer's Operating Manual, and different system manuals.
This section also includes procedures for operation of machinery and
CAD drawings.
- Deck

Deck Manuals are taken from the equipment manufacture's manuals
and include some of the equipment on the bridge and used on deck.
