Computer Networking

Description:
This course is designed to provide the professional training in network theory, concepts, and operations necessary to properly prepare for the Cisco CCNA exam.

The topics covered will include:

The OSI model
Ethernet networking and standards
Layer 2 switching
TCP/IP
IP addressing and subnetting
Cisco IOS basics
IP Routing
Virtuals LAN's (VLAN's)
Cisco router management
Novell IPX
Access lists
Wide Area Networks (WAN's)

Each topic will include written and hands on labs that will help you with your understanding of the material.  Each student will get valuable hands on experience configuring Cisco switches and routers.
