of the Assistant
Superintendent for Facilities
Captain Theodore Dogonniuck, P.E.,serves as the Assistant Superintendent for Facilities.
This billet provides leadership, coordination, and management oversight of the Academy's capital improvement,
infrastructure, and logistics activities. In this capacity, Captain Dogonniuck supervises the Academy's engineering, safety, and support personnel.
A graduate of Cornell University, Captain Dogonniuck was commissioned in the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a logistics officer and intelligence officer. He is a veteran of Operation Desert Shield / Desert Storm, and served as the Marine Corps Liaison Officer at Kings Point for three years. After leaving active duty, Captain Dogonniuck practiced as a bridge designer and project manager on capital projects within the New York Metropolitan Region. He then served as a project manager on federal blast and progressive collapse design programs and his last project prior to joining Kings Point was as a project manager and historic structure engineer, which included work on the Alexander Hamilton Custom House at Bowling Green.
Captain Dogonniuck holds a Master's degree in engineering from Columbia University, and is a licensed Professional Engineer and a New York State Building Code Official. His office is located in Furuseth Hall.
