College Interns
The internship program at the American Merchant Marine Museum provides students with exposure to the inner workings of a metropolitan museum, promoting an awareness of museum careers through experiences not available through academic settings. The internship will allow the student to relate theory to practice and to interact with professionals. The internship program is a great way to gain practical experience in your field of interest. Projects can be completed in history research, collections, and education. Internship projects are based on current museum needs.
