Announcements and Events:

With its full-time program, which includes frequent educational visits by school and youth groups, community organizations and senior citizens as well as by the faculty, staff and midshipmen of the United States Merchant Marine Academy, the Museum is actively serving the needs of the  Academy, the maritime industry and the public at large. Continual activity epitomizes the Museum's busy schedule. The Max and Victoria Dreyfus Room for temporary displays permits frequent changes in special exhibits to highlight newly acquired material or emphasizes items that have been previously collected and stored. Exhibits of work by both established and up-and-coming marine artists and photographers are a regular feature.  Special events and announcements are listed as follows:-
