Crew List
The names of the heroic men who lost their
lives during the War are inscribed forever in the Roll of
Honor Book on display in the Mariner's Chapel at the U.S.
Merchant Marine Academy. Unfortunately , the names of those,
like you - who survived the "Wolf Packs," the
Murmansk convoys, the lonely single ships voyages in the
South Atlantic and the "Kamikazes" of the Western
Pacific have not been displayed anywhere. The American Merchant
Marine Museum is correcting this situation. We are in the
process of compiling a "Crew List" of mariners
who served during World War II. This book is on permanent
public display in the Museum. Once completed, a copy will
be placed in the Congressional Library in Washington, D.C.
If you or a family member was a Mariner during World War
II, we invite you to SIGN ON and make sure your name and
service are not forgotten. For a tax-deductible donation
to the Museum of $25 or more, we will inscribe your name,
rating, the name of one of the ships on which you served.
Please print this form below and fill in the information.
Mail the completed form along with your donation to the
Museum.
